The R454A refrigerant gas is a low-GWP (239) HFO replacement for R404A in new equipment. As a replacement for R404A, its characteristics are perfectly balanced; it has better performance and greater cooling capacity. The GWP reduction here is an impressive 94%.
The GWP value of the refrigerant R454C is even lower, but R454A contains more R32 refrigerant to ensure better performance.
