The refrigerant R455A gas is a mildly flammable (A2L) zeotropic blend. It is an alternative to R22 and R404A for low-, medium- and high-temperature applications in new systems. It can also replace R290. R455A has an ultra-low GWP of only 146.

R455A gas applications and use
R455A gas is a good long-term solution for low-temperature commercial refrigeration applications. It can be used in many segments of the HVACR sector. For example: small charge, plug-in cabinets, condensing units and monoblocks for cold rooms and cold stores, water channels, chillers, heat pumps, the low-temperature side of cascade systems and transport refrigeration.
